We lose things every day.

Money. Time. People. Chances we didn't take. It never feels like a choice.

This is different.

Here, loss is intentional. You choose the amount. You press the button. It's gone. No product. No reward. Just the act of letting go.

This Is Your Loss is a live installation exploring what happens when loss becomes a choice. Each participant selects an amount between £1 and £100, confirms their decision, and receives nothing in return. The transaction is final. The loss is real.

Every loss is numbered. Every loss is permanent. The work exists for as long as the artist decides it should. When it ends, it ends.

Where does the money go? To the artist. When you buy a painting, you don't ask where the money goes. This is no different — except here, you leave with nothing but the experience of letting go.

Until then — lose with purpose.

What is this?

This Is Your Loss is a live art installation exploring our relationship with money, value, and the things we hold onto.

You choose an amount. You pay it. You receive nothing. No product. No download. No service. No reward. Just the experience of letting go.

Every transaction is logged. Every loss is numbered. You become part of a growing record of voluntary surrender — a collective act of deliberate, conscious loss.

The question isn't why you'd pay for nothing.
It's what does it feel like when you do?
